FREE heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater training opportunities hosted by utility training centers:

TECH Clean California will sponsor the purchase of hybrid units for contractors in areas where there are limited options for customers interested in having a heat pump deliver their hot water needs.

Contractors must be trained on hybrid water heater installation and work directly with a manufacturer for support as part of participation in this sub-program. Learn more by reading the flyer linked below:

This flyer explains the Learn and Earn program where TECH Clean California will sponsor the purchase of heat pump water heater units for TECH-certified contractors participating in qualifying training courses. The intended audience is contractors.

TECH Clean California is offering substantial incentives direct to contractors to support the installation of heat pump water heaters in California, including commercial and other non-residential projects. Incentives for non-residential customers are currently available in PG&E, SCE and SDG&E service areas. Incentives are available only to TECH Clean California-enrolled contractors.
